Industrial Maintenance Internship

Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment alongside experienced mechanics, helping ensure beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos are produced efficiently for stores and communities.

What You'll Do:

• Work side by side with experienced mechanics to gain hands-on experience in rebuilding, repairing, troubleshooting, fabricating, and building industrial equipment
• Complete assigned tasks in an industrial maintenance environment, matching work to current or previous technical coursework when possible
• Attend all required trainings, including Safety Programs and job-specific training
• Commit to a semester-long internship with the potential for additional semesters, supporting the goal of preparing for full-time employment as a Maintenance Mechanic
• Use required personal protective equipment provided by Frito Lay (including safety boots and shirts) and utilize provided tools to complete tasks and assignments

What to Expect:

• On-the-Job Training: Learn the role through hands-on and classroom training
• High Energy Workplace: On the go for most of the day in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that involves lifting, bending, and moving product throughout your shift
