Urgent Care Physician

Clinical Services: ProviderPhysicians independently perform a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections and are also responsible for selecting and utilizing appropriate diagnostics and/or therapeutic procedures for patients.Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school requiredWork Experience:2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience requiredMinimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting requiredAdult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferredRequired Licenses/Certifications:- Board Certified or Board Eligible by an ABMS member board or AOA specialty board in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine- Active state medical licensureAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:- Experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting- Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records- Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills- Strong communication and customer service skillsEssential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job's purpose and objectives.
