Physician Assistant / Family Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care (Day Shift) Location: 4280 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705 Status: Full‑Time Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; shift hours 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, every other weekend and occasional holidays. Compensation: $60‑$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus. Position Summary We are seeking a full‑time clinician to join our urgent care team in Tucson, AZ. This role offers variety, autonomy, and a meaningful community impact in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management as applicable Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications National board certification or eligibility (PA: NCCPA, NP: ANCC or AANP) Active DEA license Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certificationWillingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (paid training and fees) Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care) Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read Equal Opportunity Employer NextCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
