FT Night Auditor

Night Auditor Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable full-time Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor will be responsible for managing the front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process for guests, and performing accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

Shift begins at 11PM and ends at 7AM. Sunday through Thursday night.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night.
• Maintain the security and safety of the hotel premises during night hours.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

Education, Experience, and Skills (Qualifications/Requirements):

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
• Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using hotel management software and basic accounting systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally (consider adjustments based on specific needs).
• Visual and auditory ability to interact with guests, answer phones, and perform job duties safely.
