As a trusted ally in their recovery journey, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating patients through personalized care strategies.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our fully-equipped rehabilitation center, where you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to maintain a professional environment while fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients. The team operates with a patient-first mentality and places a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication among staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess each patient’s unique needs through comprehensive evaluations to establish baseline functionality and treatment goals.
  • Maintain a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and high standards of care.
  • Design and implement customized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to enhance mobility and strength.
  • Administer cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility, while also prioritizing non-surgical treatment options.
  • Employ manual therapy techniques and develop specialized exercise programs to meet the specific medical and functional needs of each patient.
  • Track patient outcomes, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring effective communication with patients regarding their progress.
  • Document all services provided in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, utilizing EMR systems such as WebPT.
  • Engage in regular consultations with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients.
  • Encourage patients throughout their recovery journey, helping them set realistic goals and fostering an environment that promotes successful rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients and their families on lifestyle modifications that support long-term health, injury prevention, and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. This diverse population may include athletes, postoperative patients, and individuals seeking rehabilitation for chronic pain or injury. You will be instrumental in promoting their recovery, addressing both physical challenges and motivating them towards healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
  • Proficient in manual therapy techniques and skilled in designing effective exercise regimens.
  • Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful treatment plans.
  • Involvement in multidisciplinary teams that have fostered collaborative care approaches.
  • Previous roles that required motivational patient engagement strategies and adherence to best practice guidelines.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 95,000 , commensurate with experience. Along with a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to achieve a balanced work-life dynamic:
