About the Unit

The Invasive Cardiology department is a preop and postop area where patients are prepared and recovered for patients involved in Cath Lab and EP procedures. This includes recovering from moderate sedation and anesthesia procedures.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Required Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
• Associates's degree from accredited college or University

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University
