Assembly Supervisor - Night Shift - Saturday to Monday (5pm to 5am) US Conec seeks a hands‑on Assembly Supervisor to lead production operations on our weekend night shift team. Overview Oversee daily workflow and guide production employees in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency across the department. Coach team members, enforce policies, and collaborate cross‑functionally to meet customer deadlines. Play a key role in process improvement, documentation, and team development. Responsibilities Plan and assign work based on the production tracker and shipping schedule. Monitor workflow and adjust personnel assignments to meet changing priorities. Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while enforcing company policies and procedures. Review and approve Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) for accuracy and compliance. Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Track and report on cost reduction strategies and operational metrics. Coordinate with other departments to meet customer order deadlines. Maintain and approve time and production records; supervise Paylocity time entries. Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations across the team. Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency. Support training and development of team members and lead substitutes. Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and process improvements. Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel. Oversee tool serialization and inventory tracking. Participate in fixture testing and approval processes with Quality and Engineering teams. Must Haves High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Proven ability to supervise and guide 50–100 production employees. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and time‑keeping systems. Clear communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
