American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with 3+ years experience to work night shifts in a short-term acute care hospital, performing breast MRI and breast biopsy procedures.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 180 staffed beds

MRI department using a 3T Philips scanner and a 1.5T Siemens Sola scanner

Performs breast MRI and breast biopsy procedures

Patient ratio of 1:12

Night shift, Mon-Thurs 7p-5a (4x10 hours)

On-call required for 1 weekend every 6th or 7th week

No floating to like units or sister facilities required

EPIC charting system used

ARRT (MR) and BLS certification required

License required if applicable

Minimum of 3 years of MRI experience required

Experience with breast MRI and breast biopsies preferred

Trauma Level I experience preferred

Epic charting system experience required

Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI procedures preferred

Skills in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts preferred

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Scrub color is black

Must request RTO in advance when possible

May be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation

Does not accept local candidates within a 70-mile radius of the facility

Clinicians cannot work more than 1 year as a traveler without taking a 6-month break before returning
