COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Hourly base pay range: $16.90 per hour plus tips with a $2 to $4 shift differential for overnight. Eligible employees may enroll in accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits and the company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan. Eligibility depends on classification, length of employment and hours worked. Seasonal and temporary roles may not be eligible for benefits. WORK SCHEDULE 6:00 pm to 1:00 am, Friday through Sunday. SUMMARY The Guest Service Associate provides exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and delivering excellent customer service throughout guest interactions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients; acknowledges and greets guests within five feet; uses guest last names during interactions. (25%) Uses salutation of the day and welcomes guests to the location; practices proper Towne Park phone etiquette; posts up in designated areas when not completing tasks. (10%) Parks and retrieves vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; assists guests with bell services and luggage storage; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests. (20%) Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions; delivers messages, items, or guest amenities; shuttles guests to approved locations. (10%) Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys; collects claim checks from all guests before issuing keys; completes and maintains all ticket information, including key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipt; consistently records location on key tags; calculates and collects revenue for vehicles. (35%) QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Licensure, Certification, etc.: Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state of employment or a commutable distance from that state. Work experience: One (1) month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Ability to read and write standard English language. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees. Ability to add and subtract three‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money. Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems. Understanding of rates applicable to time passed. Operates manual transmission (highly desirable). Performs parallel parking. SCOPE OF AUTHORITY AND BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY Job is routine; follows established practices and procedures; duties are performed under specific directions with frequent checks or verifications; decisions made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect the department’s smooth operation. Budget responsibility: control only over available resources. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods and may run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment; lifting up to 100pounds occasionally, up to 50pounds frequently, or up to 20pounds constantly. ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL Work is mainly outdoors for extended periods, including the entire shift; employees may be exposed to extreme heat and cold weather; travel up to 5% may be required.
