Join a leading pediatric inpatient pharmacy team in a fast paced hospital environment where you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care. This full time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced hospital pharmacist looking to grow within a collaborative, high acuity setting.

Position Details

Full time | Direct Hire
Day Shift: Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Salary: $107k - $154k/year

Responsibilities

Verify medication orders for safety, accuracy, and appropriate dosing.
Review patient profiles for allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and adverse reactions.
Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
Compound and dispense medications in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Monitor patient medication therapy and recommend interventions to improve therapeutic outcomes.
Evaluate non-formulary medication requests and recommend cost-effective alternatives when appropriate.
Ensure accurate medication preparation, labeling, and timely order verification.
Participate in multidisciplinary patient care rounds and discharge planning.
Educate patients, pharmacists, technicians, students, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform drug information and medication utilization review activities.
Assist with medication purchasing, inventory management, recalls, and shortage mitigation.

Requirements

Active Arkansas Pharmacist License
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (New grads with inpatient intern/APPE experience are welcome to apply)
IV experience or IV Certification
Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment
