Work Location Lowell, Massachusetts, United States of America Hours 40 hours per week Pay Details $72,280 – $108,160 USD Job Overview The Financial Advisor (FA) is a three‑year program with a forgivable draw. The FA provides financial planning guidance and sells investment management solutions to TD Wealth clients. The role is the central point of contact, responsible for client service, relationship development, and achieving greater share of wallet by helping clients reach goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection. Responsibilities Provide financial planning guidance and investment recommendations aligned to client goals. Deliver legendary customer‑centric service during every interaction to maximize retention and growth. Ensure all new clients receive a complete onboarding experience, including client discovery, financial needs analysis, introduction to the client servicing team, and completion of all required documents. Partner to promote lead generation and refer business to Retail and Small Business/Commercial partners. Manage goals, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Deliver an annual client review (ACR) meeting with a wealth‑focused agenda. Serve as primary point of contact for TD Wealth client relationships, managing all aspects of the relationship with TD Bank and referring to retail and wealth partners as needed. Implement and execute a differentiated service model for TD Wealth clients. Meet quarterly and annual sales goals. Deepen wallet share by anticipating client needs and recommending appropriate wealth solutions, maximizing profitability while ensuring an exceptional client experience. Identify opportunities to refer business to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners. Execute all tasks in a thorough manner that complies with regulations, policies, and procedures. Adhere to all federal, state, and SRO regulations and firm policies (e.g., OCC, SEC, state insurance commissioners, NY Department of Financial Services). Maintain all continuing education requirements. Understand and adhere to TD Bank and TD Wealth policies and procedures. Implement TD’s Customer Identification Program (CIP) by collecting and verifying required customer identification information and performing required due‑diligence procedures. Uncover client assets and transition higher‑threshold clients to appropriate HNW Wealth partners. Foster and contribute to a positive, constructive work environment and support the overall Wealth team. Provide coaching, wealth referral training, and ongoing feedback to Retail and Small Business staff. Contribute individually, as a team member and mentor to new FAs, ensuring strong performance and collaboration. Represent TD Wealth to the public professionally. Engage in community and TDBG charity initiatives. Preferable Skills Cambodian language skills preferred to support client needs. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of providing advice, planning, and investment sales. SIE, Series 7, Series 63 required. Required to have Lifetime and Health (L&H) and Series 66 (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain all within the licensing schedule. Self‑directed with strong ability to plan own activities to achieve sales and referral goals. Advanced understanding of wealth products and services. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to travel within assigned market to meet prospects, clients, and partners five days a week. Ability to commute within assigned territory. Strong understanding of wealth management business development techniques. Strong understanding and experience interacting with retail and small business banking clients. Consultative sales experience required. Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and partner effectively with other departments. Proven ability to achieve sales goals.
