Your Role in Healthcare

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, take control of diagnostic procedures, and create tailored care plans for individuals
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either in collaboration with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
• Guide patients and their families through wellness, prevention, and disease management education
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions consistent with your scope of practice
• Engage in patient follow-ups and chronic disease management initiatives

• Maintain detailed and precise electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Needed

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent of your speciality
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to obtain within 90 days)
