Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? As a merchandising & stocking associate, you help members find everything on their list by managing inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick‑up orders, and stocking shelves. Your role is physically demanding and fast‑paced – it’s like being paid to work out! Responsibilities Promptly unload trucks and assist with staging club pick‑up orders. Assist fellow associates and members throughout the store. Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom. Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area. Provide member service by acknowledging members, guiding them with self‑service technology, and recommending products. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials per company policies. Maintain sales floor presentation, properly zoning, stocking, arranging, pricing, and removing damaged goods. Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards. Apply company policies, ethics, and standards; comply with the Open Door Policy. Prioritize assignments, collaborate with managers and co‑workers, and recommend improvement opportunities. Qualifications Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing more than 25 pounds. Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to fast‑paced environments. Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills. Compensation Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. Additional premiums may be paid from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour. Benefits Health benefits: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
