# Plaintiff-Side Labor & Employment Attorney

### Atlanta, GA | Remote

A well-established national plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking an experienced **Labor & Employment Attorney** to join its growing practice.

This is a remote opportunity for an attorney who is **based in the Atlanta market and actively licensed in both Georgia and Alabama**. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience representing employees in employment disputes and litigation and will be comfortable managing matters independently.

### What You'll Do

* Represent employees in a broad range of labor and employment matters
* Manage an active caseload from initial client intake through resolution
* Evaluate potential employment claims and develop litigation strategies
* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents
* Handle discovery, including written discovery and document review
* Take and defend depositions
* Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations and hearings
* Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, status and potential outcomes
* Handle employment litigation in state and federal courts
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships
* Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex matters
* Represent employees in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage & hour disputes, harassment, FMLA, ADA, whistleblower claims, restrictive covenants, severance and other workplace issues

### What We're Looking For

* Active license in **Georgia AND Alabama**
* Attorney in good standing with both state bars
* Meaningful experience practicing **Labor & Employment law**
* Plaintiff-side or employee-side experience strongly preferred
* Strong litigation background
* Excellent legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills
* Experience managing cases and interacting directly with clients
* Strong judgment, organization and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Willingness to advocate aggressively and thoughtfully on behalf of employees

### Location

### Compensation
