In addition to serving students directly, you'll have the unique responsibility of supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), fostering both student and professional growth.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous schools-based SLP experience preferred
• Experience or willingness to supervise and mentor an SLPA
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to create engaging and individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to students according to IEPs and school guidelines
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment strategies for students with communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Supervise and guide the daily work of an SLPA, ensuring compliance with best practices
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions as needed
