Capital Trail Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable, and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental family!

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough, gentle preventive and periodontal care
• Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing
• Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs
• Perform periodontal charting and accurately document clinical findings
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and periodontal health
• Discuss recommended preventive services and treatment with patients
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Follow OSHA, infection-control, and HIPAA standards
• Help maintain an efficient and organized hygiene schedule
• Communicate effectively with the doctor, assistants, and front-office team
• Build trusting, long-term relationships with our patients

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Virginia

• Interested in finding a long-term dental home , not simply a place to clock in and out

Experience is preferred, but we are also happy to consider a motivated newer hygienist who is a great fit for our team and philosophy.

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Full-time benefits include PTO, 401(k), and production bonus opportunities.
