Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Texas, United States. The successful candidate will represent clients in pre‑litigation issues, foreclosure actions, bankruptcy, evictions, and other litigation matters. They will collaborate with the team on internal case processing and ensure high‑quality legal work. Responsibilities Manage multiple pre‑litigation issues, foreclosure actions, and bankruptcy cases. Prepare letters, emails, foreclosure documents, pleadings, and motions. Review and edit legal work product of department staff. Provide guidance and feedback to non‑attorney staff. Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as required. Conduct initial intake and strategy analysis of new cases. Perform legal research applicable to assigned cases. Record billable work accurately. Deliver excellent customer service to clients. Commit to continued education and learning. Assist with tasks as assigned by Managing Attorney. Requirements Juris Doctorate and Texas State Bar license in good standing. 5+ years of legal practice experience. Experience with bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings. Proficiency in Westlaw and time‑billing software. Ability to prioritize workload effectively. Strong legal research and writing skills. Excellent communication skills. Education Juris Doctorate. Certifications Texas State Bar license.
