Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in sterile processing and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and sterilization.

Shift

This position requires working a mid-shift schedule of five 8-hour days, from 14:30 to 23:00.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper cleaning, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with surgical teams to facilitate patient safety and effective surgical procedures.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
• Monitor and maintain sterilization equipment and report any issues immediately.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in sterile processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
• Certification in Sterile Processing preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
