Behavioral Health DSP (Direct Support Professional)

Full-Time Days | Part-Time Opportunities Available | Pay Based on Experience

At Thoroughways, we're looking for people who are invested —people who notice when something isn't working, step in to help, and ask for support when they need it.

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) support adults with brain injuries, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health needs at home and throughout the community. We don't do life for people—we help people learn to do more for themselves.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks, physical and drug screening
• Comfortable using technology for scheduling and documentation

Experience in brain injury, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, HCBS or human services is preferred but not required.

What You'll Do

• Teach and reinforce everyday living skills
• Support participants at home and throughout the community
• Assist with employment, appointments, recreation and community involvement
• Provide structure, prompting and behavioral support
• Document progress and collaborate with the participant's team

Schedule & Benefits

We're hiring full-time day positions , with some part-time opportunities available. Schedules are based on participant needs, with some flexibility in how hours are structured.
