Drivers are responsible for operating a delivery vehicle, servicing accounts, and executing in-store merchandising standards.Operate a CDL Class A vehicle on an assigned local delivery routeDeliver product to a variety of commercial customer locations, including foodservice accountsUnload product using pallet jacks and hand trucks and place in designated areasMerchandise product by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining display standardsSet up promotional materials such as pricing signage and displays as neededVerify delivery documentation, generate invoices, and complete daily settlement of deliveriesMaintain professional working relationships with store management and receiving personnelComplete all scheduled stops and service requirements within assigned shiftJob RequirementsMust be 23 years of age or olderMust have Class A CDLMust have DOT Medical CardMinimum of 2-year driving experienceAbility to lift and carry 20-45 lbs repeatedly during shiftAbility to operate pallet jacks, lift gates, and hand trucksAbility to read, complete, and maintain required delivery and DOT documentationStrong customer service and communicating skillsMust successfully complete pre-employment Drug and background screening and motor vehicle history review in accordance with company and DOT standardsCapstone is a North American supply chain solutions partner with more than 650 operating locations, 19,000 associates, and 60,000 carriers.
