$22.00 - $32.00 per hour We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Amesbury, MA. This position is responsible for assembling conveyors, automated machinery, and related equipment in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Assemble conveyors, automated equipment, and mechanical components according to specifications and drawings. Read and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and work orders. Organize tasks and materials to support efficient project completion. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Measure accurately using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow company quality and safety standards at all times. Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with optional overtime opportunities available. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, equipment assembly, automotive repair, or a related field. Experience with conveyor systems or custom machinery is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout an 8-hour shift. Ability to occasionally climb ladders and work in varying positions. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
