Position Overview
We are seeking a Paraprofessional to support students in a school-based setting in Wilmington, DE. This role involves working closely with teachers and special education staff to provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students throughout the school day.

Potential placements may include districts such as Red Clay Consolidated School District or Brandywine School District, as well as individual campuses like The Bayard School or Freire Charter School Wilmington.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group instructional support

• Assist with implementation of IEP goals and accommodations

• Support classroom management and positive behavior strategies

• Help students with transitions, routines, and daily activities

• Monitor student behavior and document progress when required

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred

• Ability to follow teacher direction and behavior plans

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Patience and consistency in working with students
