This position offers an opportunity for a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide essential coverage and clinical oversight of pharmacy operations in Bartlett, TN. The role involves supervising pharmacy technicians, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.

Schedule:

• Per Diem, 24–35 hours per week
• Pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM CST

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacist coverage and clinical oversight for daily pharmacy operations
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in their duties
• Review and verify prescriptions, including medication selection and dosing accuracy
• Conduct patient assessments, consultations, and refill evaluations as needed
• Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and accreditation requirements
• Participate in quality assurance activities and audits to maintain high standards
• Respond effectively to changing priorities and support operational needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee pharmacist license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills alongside excellent customer service
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands
• Basic proficiency with pharmacy technology systems, including CareTend, and Microsoft Office applications
• 1–2 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings
