Qualifications Post-Secondary education in a related discipline preferred Skills Proficient use and administration of Microsoft applications including MS Office 365, Project, Visio, SQL Computer hardware, software and printer troubleshooting Basic Linux/Unix Skills PowerShell and scripting in a variety of languages Ability to Prioritize Sense of Urgency Excellent Communication Skills - Bilingual in SPANISH is an asset Experience 2-3 years’ experience in a similar capacity Responsibilities Ensure that all work undertaken is carried out safely and without injury. Ensure that all food safety issues are reported to the appropriate manager or supervisor. Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person, over the phone or using TeamViewer. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solutions for Bericap North American Facilities (Burlington, Canada| South Carolina |Utah|Mexico City, Mexico). Maintain and support Plant label computers, printers, and R/F devices on the manufacturing /warehouse floor. Maintain daily performance of computer systems. Respond to email messages for end users seeking help. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), VPN and other systems. Maintain user profiles in Linux, QAD, Freedom, and Windows as required Supports monthly data extraction and transfer to parent companies. Manage Telecommunications (Phone/Cell/Internet) Ensures compliance with internal procedures and makes recommendations as appropriate with reference to information technology.
