Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes, ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting. Job expectations include understanding and implementing internal/external mandate, ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments, and manages traceability.Position Summary:Function as Lead for Risk QA space while managing test delivery/automation and focus on MRT platform stability and improvements.Responsibilities:Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reportingCreates and optimizes test automation frameworks and use of test automation toolsLeads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teamsCreates a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.)Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholdersManages test execution and resolves, communicates or escalates any issues that may result in test plan varianceDesigns test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environmentsDefine and execute the overall QA strategy aligned with business and technology team for all market risk applicationsLead and manage QA teams consisting of manual, automation, and data testers.Establish quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices across projectsDrive a quality-first culture and provide continuous improvement initiatives to ensure production stabilityDevelop QA roadmaps, automation strategies, and testing transformation plans.Ensure adherence to organizational QA governance and compliance requirements.Own end-to-end QA delivery across multiple projects and releasesDefine test scope, test approach, resource allocation, and timelines and Review project requirements to ensure adequate test coverage.Manage SIT Regression, Integration, Performance, and Feature validation activities.Define automation strategy and framework roadmap, adoption of Python-based automation solutions, Improve regression and integration automation coverage.Required Qualifications:10+ years of QA leadership experience managing enterprise-scale testing initiatives.Proven experience leading large QA organizations across manual, automation, and data testing disciplines.Strong background in test automation, data validation, and enterprise application testing.Experience implementing QA governance, risk-based testing, and release management practices.Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and continuous testing methodologies.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.Expected Skills:QA Leadership & GovernancePython AutomationDB2 / Oracle / SQL Server / Advanced SQLETL & Data Warehouse TestingData Migration ValidationReporting & Regulatory TestingTest Automation FrameworksAgile & DevOpsAI Tools (GitHub Copilot, GenAI Testing Tools)People ManagementRisk & Release ManagementExecutive CommunicationDesired Qualifications:Experience within banking, financial services, risk management, or regulatory reporting domains.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-driven testing practices.Exposure to cloud-based , AI data platforms and modern data engineering ecosystems.Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, controls, and audit requirements.Skills:Analytical ThinkingBusiness AcumenInfluenceTechnical Strategy DevelopmentTest EngineeringAutomationCollaborationSolution Delivery ProcessSolution DesignStakeholder ManagementAgile PracticesApplication DevelopmentArchitectureDevOps PracticesUser Experience DesignShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - NJ - Jersey City - 525 Washington Blvd (NJ2525)Pay and benefits informationPay range$98,000.00 - $141,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
