Arterial Monitor TechnicianSentara Virginia Beach General is hiring an Arterial Monitor Technician.Fulltime, Rotating ShiftsMonitors patients EKG and invasive hemodynamic pressures and general surgical procedures. Performs cardiac outputs, special invasive pressures, as well as various clinical pathological tests, such as blood gas analysis, electrolytes, blood clotting times, etc. Is proficient in intraoperative autologous transfusion, including plasma sequestration. Utilizes the Gravitational Platelet system. Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment specific to the department. Provides didactic and clerical training to employees. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.55 - $28.69 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
