Sr. Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer III position supporting Waters Corporation (formerly BD Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions) in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The role involves monitoring quality indicators, analyzing critical parameters, and driving improvements for manufactured medical device and diagnostic products through compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Monitor and trend quality metrics for materials, components, and finished products to improve performance
Evaluate critical-to-quality parameters and risk variables for product design and flow decisions
Support quality management engineering initiatives and day-to-day quality activities for assigned products
Ensure consistent implementation of quality systems across product lines and business systems
Lead root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action investigations, and process improvement projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in sciences or related technical field
3+ years quality engineering or related manufacturing experience
Medical device, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing facility background
Proficiency in written communication for technical audiences
Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13485/14971 regulations
Statistical analysis and process control tools proficiency
