CDL-A Dedicated Grocery Driver

Join a dedicated CDL-A fleet that offers consistent freight, dependable schedules, and modern equipment. This semi-local position is ideal for drivers who enjoy running dedicated grocery freight with minimal handling while benefiting from a stable operation and year-round work.

Drivers on this account deliver grocery products in dry van trailers to retail locations and distribution centers. The majority of freight is drop-and-hook, with some live unload deliveries, and all freight is no-touch. With consistent freight volumes, dedicated routes, and a strong support team, this position provides the stability and earning potential professional drivers are looking for.

Job Details

Semi-local dedicated grocery account
Deliver grocery products in dry van trailers
Majority drop-and-hook freight
Some live unload deliveries
No-touch freight
Dedicated customer operation
Consistent freight volumes
Drivers may assist other company accounts when needed

Special Requirements

Must be willing and able to install tire chains when weather conditions require
Must be comfortable operating in mountain driving conditions
Weather-related route changes may require overnight layovers
Hotel accommodations and layover pay provided when weather delays occur
Drivers may be assigned to support other dedicated or intermodal accounts when business needs require

Equipment

Automatic day cab tractors
International and Freightliner equipment
Slip-seat operation
Modern, well-maintained equipment
Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Ability to safely operate in mountain and winter driving conditions
Strong safety record
Professional and dependable work ethic
Flexibility to assist on other accounts when needed
