Human Resources Information System Analyst

A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Systems & Data Analyst to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise business applications, with a primary focus on Workday HRIS. This position will work closely with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and leadership teams to improve system functionality, streamline processes, and develop data-driven reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience with HRIS platforms, data integrations, business intelligence tools, and legal financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Support Workday HRIS implementation, including data migration, validation, testing, reporting, and ongoing optimization.
Gather and analyze business requirements to develop scalable reports, dashboards, and system solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve Workday functionality, data quality, workflows, and operational efficiency.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and data processing solutions.
Troubleshoot system performance issues and maintain data integrity across enterprise applications.
Support additional business systems, including Aderant Sierra, DealCloud, and other internal applications.
Develop reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.
Maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and system procedures.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on system enhancements and projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
4–6 years of relevant experience in HRIS, business systems analysis, data analytics, or a related discipline.
Hands-on Workday experience required, including HRIS integrations, reporting, or system implementations.
Experience with API authentication, encryption, digital certificates (X.509/PGP), SFTP, and secure data exchange.
Experience with legal financial systems such as Aderant or Elite 3E.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Knowledge of data pipelines, automation, orchestration, and enterprise system integrations.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced professional environment. xuwmhxw
