Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Educator Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements: Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable) BSN required; MSN preferred/required for most facilities BLS and ACLS certification required Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) certification preferred 3 years of clinical nursing experience required; prior education/precepting experience preferred Strong presentation, curriculum development, and adult learning skills Duties: Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education programs for nursing staff Assess staff competency and learning needs, tailoring education to unit and individual requirements Facilitate skills labs, simulations, and hands-on training on clinical procedures and equipment Provide support and mentorship for new graduate nurses and preceptors Ensure staff compliance with mandatory education, certifications, and regulatory training requirements Collaborate with unit managers and leadership to identify education gaps and quality improvement opportunities Develop and update policies, procedures, and educational materials based on evidence-based practice Support rollout of new equipment, technology, and clinical protocols through targeted training Accurately document staff education, competencies, and training records Serve as a clinical resource and subject matter expert for nursing staff across departments BHS Workforce Job ID 37831466.
