Escrow Officer

Escrow Officer (On-site) We are Lennar Title, a Fortune 150 company dedicated to personal growth, innovation, and diversity. We seek an experienced Escrow Officer to prepare, process, and close escrow files, ensuring compliance with title and financial regulations. Responsibilities Communicate and coordinate daily responsibilities with the Branch or Escrow Manager. Obtain demands/releases to clear title. Draw instructions and supporting documents for signing. Audit and close files when all funds and documents are received. Disburse funds. Write escrow instructions consistent with party requirements and obtain approval. Estimate escrow closing amounts and collect buyers’ and sellers’ deposits. Review commitment and/or preliminary title reports to verify vesting and legal description. Reconcile discrepancies between instructions and title reports with title officer and/or principals. Order beneficiary statements or demands, fire insurance, loan interest, rents, and other prorated items. Direct and participate in the preparation of settlement sheets. Train, supervise, guide, and assign work to other associates in the office. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information and escrow transactions. Understand and comply with escrow accounting procedures. Understand and comply with Good Funds Law. Solicit business in person, through development functions, or virtually. Prepare account servicing setups, if applicable. Know the Rate Manual and quote accurate fees. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years of Escrow Officer experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Notary license required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company sites and offices during regular work hours. Work more than eight hours per day in confined quarters (e.g., construction trailer). Operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry equipment up to 50 pounds. Occasional operation of construction equipment may be required. Finger dexterity required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate $27.82–$44 (subject to adjustment based on qualifications, geographic differences, and business considerations). Potential eligibility for bonuses and commissions.
