Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob SummaryThe Quality Control and Quantity Tracking is an essential part of the organization. This individual works under general jobsite supervision and superintendents to assure projects are meeting design specifications. The QC/QT Specialist will audit, Track and witness the test of installed work. Using prior experience and strong attention to detail, locates potential issues during planning process and prior to installation; when post-install issues are located, provides recommendations for corrective action to field foreman and project management. Manage the completion of punch list and rework by ensuring the 1st installation is correct Acts as a liaison between Shapiro & Duncan and owners, general contractors, and other parties.FLSA Status: Salaried, ExemptReports to: Foreman/PM/SuperintendentsRequirementsAble to work multiple shifts and hours, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed with possible nights. Must be flexible with work schedule.Familiar with quality control standards, concepts, practices, and procedures.Knowledge and understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Understand and read blueprint drawings.Possess strong interpersonal skills.
