Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Cloud (IICS).
- Build, optimize, and manage data models and data warehousing solutions in Snowflake.
- Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across all data pipelines.
- Develop reusable data frameworks, automation processes, and workflow orchestration.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
- Work in Agile teams supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles.
- 4-8+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in IICS (mappings, tasks, parameterization, scheduling).
- Proficient in Snowflake (warehouses, stages, SnowSQL, task/stream pipelines).
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and tuning performance.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based data architecture.
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Python for automation or data processing.
- Familiarity with Terraform, DBT, Airflow, or other orchestration/automation tools.
- Knowledge of API integrations and real-time/streaming solutions.
- Exposure to data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management. ALIS Software LLC
