Job Description & Requirements Specialty: GI Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/28/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The organization is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Gastroenterology Laboratory - Endoscopy team in Highland Park, Illinois. This position involves assisting physicians during gastrointestinal and endoscopy procedures in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates are required to bring their active Illinois nursing license on their first day of work. Job Details Address: Highland Park, IL Specialty: Gastroenterology Laboratory Shift Hours: 8 hours per day, scheduled to start between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours Start Date: 06/21/2026 Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience, a minimum of 2 years of GI Lab/Endoscopy, Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), admission, and recovery experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience assisting with GI and Endoscopy procedures, experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry, preoperative and postoperative care, and highly prefers procedural nursing experience. Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 36-40 hours per week, with orientation on Mondays. No on‑call responsibilities. Additional Information: May require floating to facilities in Skokie, Evanston, and Glenbrook. The role does not include holiday or weekend work.
