Job Description Summary Assistant Manager Are you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to: Develop a career track Leverage your current skills while developing new skills Work with an incredible team of people Duties & Responsibilities Act as the acting Profit Center Manager in the absence of the PCM Assess daily the need for purchasing equipment based on feedback from salespeople, CSRs, customer feedback, vendor representatives, and marketing department product managers Assess and modify, as needed, weekly sales plans and ensure they are executed appropriately Ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory DOT and safety requirements Perform dispatching duties (if needed) Inspect the Profit Center yard daily Ensure OSRs and CSRs are aware of slow‑moving equipment Ensure the Shop Foreman is aware of all equipment not available for rent Ensure the Profit Center Yard, facility and staff are presentable Prepare various reports, including daily contract reports, AP on hold, accrual reports, and asset disposal reports Ensure the team meets goals and complies with company standards through daily management Perform other duties assigned by the PCM Qualifications High School diploma or GED Valid driver’s license 1‑2 years of rental industry experience or a business management degree The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job. Compensation & Benefits Base pay range: $64,790.00 – $89,086.80. Starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
