Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies.
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously as permitted.
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive measures, wellness strategies, and effective disease management.
• Prescribing medications and therapies according to your professional scope.

Education Essentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a comparable specialty certification.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or capability to obtain within 90 days).
