About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team. The CISO will be tasked with establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure the protection of information assets and technologies. This includes the development and implementation of processes to reduce information and IT risks, as well as responding to incidents and managing security technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with business units to facilitate risk assessment and management, enhance the information security management framework, and provide leadership to the information security organization. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management, information security, and IT. Professional security management certification, such as CISSP or CISM, is desired. The role requires knowledge of information security management frameworks, experience in contract and vendor management, and excellent communication and leadership skills. The CISO will also be responsible for overseeing the security program, monitoring the threat environment, and liaising with external agencies to maintain a strong security posture. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is the experience in managing a team of security professionals.
