Job Summary:

The Success Coach will join a team that supports holistic student growth and excellence for undergraduate students within the Wisconsin School of Business. The Success Coach will provide individualized coaching to help students overcome challenges, develop academic skills, connect with campus and community resources, manage their time, set goals, and explore support systems for wellness and mental health. Primary responsibilities of the Success Coach include working directly with students in a one-on-one setting and managing an assigned caseload of students through a high-touch support and advocacy model. The Success Coach will build trusting relationships with students, maintain consistent follow-up, monitor student progress and engagement, identify emerging concerns, and proactively connect students with appropriate resources and support. This role requires careful and thoughtful attention to each student's individual circumstances and needs, as well as the ability to balance ongoing case management with responsive coaching.

The Success Coach will join the Student Success and Policy unit within the broader Undergraduate Program. In addition to individual student coaching and case management, the Success Coach may develop and facilitate workshops, drop-in services, and other student support initiatives. The Success Coach will collaborate with colleagues and campus partners to coordinate support and ensure students receive timely, personalized, and holistic assistance throughout their undergraduate experience.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Creates, implements, coordinates, and monitors treatment plans to assist students/clients in meeting wellness goals

• Documents all cases and accurately maintains records of cases discussed

• Serves as primary resource and referral source for students/clients in dealing with a crisis and/or mental health issues

• Prepares reports based on documented data as needed

• Assesses needs of students/clients and provides or recommends interdisciplinary care

Compensation:

The minimum salary for the position is $54,000. Actual starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting undergraduate students or other young adults to achieve academic or holistic success, including graduate assistantships or practicums
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders or partners, especially in support of a student or other young adult's wellbeing and/or success, including graduate assistantships or practicums
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consulting, referring, and interventions
  
• Experience developing initiatives to support students who are struggling academically
  
• Creativity and resourcefulness, especially when it comes to designing initiatives to support students thriving
  
• Demonstrated initiative in managing projects, caseloads, or programs
  

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
  
• Master's Degree Preferred
