Job Description Job Title: Sr. Java Developer (Back-end) Terms: Contract (Through Dec. 31st 2015) Responsibilities 5+ years of experience in architecture, design, analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of highly scalable web platform services and components, both server-side and UI 4+ years of experience in Restful API design, Java/ J2EE, Web Services, REST, SOAP, HTML5 Strong background in Object Oriented Programming / Analysis and Design concepts, Design Patterns, and Software Development Life Cycle Work closely with product management team to ensure we're building the best products. Perform research, analysis, design and implementation. Support and migrate existing systems to new platforms Mentor other team members and developers. Work in team environment and share knowledge. Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities into the platform. Contributes as a hands-on software developer. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with strong fundamentals and problem solving skills.
