Field Service Technician IV

Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all technical areas of FieldServicescustomer support. Provide technical and mechanicalservices supportto internal and external customers in various settings. Demonstrateexpertisein conflict resolution, advanced problem-solving, and proficient diagnostics such as vibrations and emissions. Utilize advanced leadership and communication skills to lead all startup and commissioning tasks effectively. Serve as a Reciprocating Compression Products Subject Matter Expert (SME) and proficiently perform engine and compressor diagnostics. Present diagnosticresults professionallyto customers. Lead or perform all startup and commissioning tasks asrequired. Must be familiar with GE Startup & Commissioning Standards andhave the ability tostart andoperatethe package. Travel extensively and work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Perform physical taskssuch asascending/descending ladders, moving heavy boxes, and working in outdoor conditions. Performadditionalduties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression. Meets all sublevel (FS Technician I, II & III) requirements. Clear, concise, andaccurateservice reporting isrequired. Education - Complete training for the following: Associates Degreewith a technical concentration (Bachelor’s Degreerecommended) or equivalent work experience. Formal training in a technical certificate program. Technical training in the oil and gas industry or associated industry. Mastery of core competencies, advanced special tooling, engine & compressor theory, OEM and Non-OEM, etc. Mastery of product documentation, engineering standards, blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc. Mastery of advanced leadership skills and engine balancing techniques. Safety-focused, service-oriented, and business-focused mindset. Ability to multitask successfully and adapt quickly to changing needs. Mature with the ability to take and provide direction on the fly. Professional administrative and organizational skills. Results-oriented with a sense of urgency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with above-average interpersonal skills.
