Growing together.Under general supervision, the Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory duties, including specimen collection, processing, and waived testing. This position requires excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.Schedule - A 40-hour work week. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00 pmLocation: 33758 Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa, CA 92399Primary Responsibilities:Obtain blood specimens by skin puncture, venipuncture in patient populations ranging from newborn, pediatric to adult and geriatricFollow all laboratory procedures and protocolsAccurately enter patient information and tests into the computer and accurately label specimens after the patient are drawn but before patient leavesDeliver specimens to analytical areasWork as a team member within the laboratory department.
