About the Role Alkira, acquired by Lumen Technologies in July 2026, is building the revenue systems that will define how we go to market as a combined organization. The Senior Growth Marketing Engineer uses AI, data enrichment, and workflow automation to build automated revenue systems that turn intent signals and buying behavior into precise, coordinated go-to-market execution at scale. This is not a traditional marketing ops or demand gen role. Alkira and Lumen have established stacks across HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, and Userled. The opportunity is to rationalize and activate them using AI-driven automation. A significant portion of Alkira's top-of-funnel opportunity comes from Lumen's large enterprise customer base, making ABM infrastructure a core responsibility. The right candidate combines a marketer's instinct for what moves buyers with an engineer's ability to build the systems that act on it. Location: Please note that this position is a hybrid work environment requiring onsite at San Jose, CA 2 - 3 times a week.What You'll Own: Data Foundation Audit and rationalize data across Alkira and Lumen systems (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, Userled) Use AI-powered enrichment to maintain clean account and contact data at scale Build ICP targeting criteria using technographic, firmographic, and intent data Data Modeling Build AI-assisted lead and account scoring models grounded in real buying signals, not form fills Develop dynamic ICP frameworks that update as market conditions evolve Create attribution models connecting campaign performance to pipeline and revenue Data Activation Deploy AI agents and automated workflows coordinating outreach, ABM campaigns, and sales motions around live buying signals Automate lead routing with AI-drafted context and call prep for sellers Build closed-loop feedback systems between campaign execution and sales outcomes Automate CRM hygiene so sellers spend time selling, not on data entry ABM Infrastructure Build and operate ABM infrastructure targeting Lumen's enterprise customer base as a primary top-of-funnel source Configure Demandbase and Userled to identify, segment, and prioritize high-value target accounts Design account-level engagement workflows across paid, owned, and outbound channels based on intent signals Build account progression tracking that maps engagement to pipeline stage and surfaces expansion signals What Success Looks Like in Year One Alkira and Lumen marketing data is clean, unified, and trusted by sales and marketing AI-driven scoring and routing models are live and improving conversion rates and sales efficiency ABM infrastructure is operational, with Lumen's enterprise customer base segmented and engaged through coordinated account-level programs Attribution is in place and feedback loops between campaign performance and sales outcomes are actively informing strategy What We're Looking For 5+ years in growth marketing engineering, revenue operations, or marketing automation Hands-on experience building AI-powered workflows and revenue automation in a go-to-market context Experience with ABM platforms such as Demandbase or Userled, including account identification, segmentation, and intent-based engagement Experience with AI-native enrichment platforms such as Clay, Apollo, or similar Proficiency across complex martech stacks; HubSpot, Marketo, and Salesforce strongly preferred Proficiency building automated workflows using Make, Zapier, n8n, or custom integrations Strong analytical skills; comfortable building scoring models, attribution frameworks, and dashboards Ability to operate independently and translate business problems into scalable technical solutions Nice to Have Familiarity with SQL or Python for data manipulation and modeling Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure Experience with post-acquisition technology stack consolidationAbout AlkiraAlkira, a Lumen company, is building the future of enterprise networking: one programmable platform to connect, secure, and operate every cloud, site, partner, data center, and AI workload. Your actual base salary and level will be determined on a case by case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education and location.
