The Role Outtake is looking for a Brand Designer to help evolve our visual identity and bring it to life across every place people encounter the company. This is a multidisciplinary, hands-on role spanning brand systems, campaigns, social content, events, presentations, and the web. You'll move fluidly between developing strong creative ideas, refining the systems behind them, and producing polished work for the everyday needs of a fast-moving company. One day might be designing a time square billboard, then next might be working on some social ads. You'll work most closely with our marketing and growth team, while collaborating with people across Outtake. The right person has range, strong visual judgment, and the adaptability to take on different kinds of creative problems without losing sight of craft or consistency. What You'll Do Help evolve Outtake's visual identity and establish a distinctive, consistent expression of the brand Translate the brand into campaigns, social content, event materials, presentations, digital experiences, and other company touchpoints Design and build new pages and experiences for Outtake's website in Figma and Webflow Develop flexible templates, guidelines, and reusable systems that make it easier for the broader team to create high-quality, on-brand work Partner with marketing and growth to turn company priorities, product launches, and emerging ideas into compelling creative concepts Move comfortably between concept development and hands-on production, carrying work from an early idea through final execution Manage multiple projects with different timelines and levels of ambiguity while maintaining a high bar for detail and craft Find thoughtful, efficient ways to produce excellent work as priorities and needs evolve. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and freelancers when a project requires additional capabilities What We're Looking For A few years of professional design experience, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates strong brand thinking and polished execution The range to work across identity, campaigns, digital design, social content, events, presentations, and web experiences Strong typography, composition, color, hierarchy, and art-direction skills. Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma Experience designing and building responsive websites in Webflow The ability to understand a brand system, work effectively within it, and identify thoughtful opportunities to evolve it Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where assignments can range from highly visible creative initiatives to practical day-to-day design needs Good judgment about when to explore, when to refine, and when to ship Motion design or video-editing experience is a plus, but not required Life at Outtake Office: For those in NY, we are an in-person team (5 days a week, with flexibility as needed) working out of a stunning waterfront office in Brooklyn.
