Senior IT Financial Analyst

Job Description

Client in Reading, PA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a critical financial partner to the IT Leadership team and Corporate Accounting organization. In this high-visibility role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end financial management of the IT portfolio for 7 VPs - including annual budget planning, spend tracking, vendor financial analysis, and invoice reconciliation. This position requires a sharp analytical mindset, a strong foundation in accounting, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or FP&A roles.

• Prior experience supporting an IT Finance or Technology business unit.

• Demonstrated experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis within a large, complex organization.

• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and processes (GAAP, accruals, cost allocations, period-end close).

• Proven ability to reconcile invoices to contracts/SOWs and manage vendor financial compliance

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling)

• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders -MBA
