Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse in an urban healthcare setting. This role involves providing specialized care to oncology patients on a busy unit. The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure adherence to unit protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Duration from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, experience working on a Medical Surgical Oncology floor or similar environment, and able to work night shifts. Newly licensed nurses with zero years of experience are welcome.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills, positive personality, familiarity with telehealth procedures, and ability to manage oncology patient needs.
• Additional Information: The unit has 15 beds with a staff of 3 registered nurses and 1 patient care technician during each shift. Staff ratio is approximately 1:5. Telehealth equipment such as telemetry monitors are used. The typical personality fit for this role is someone positive and team-oriented.
