Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from StevenDouglas Our client, a private company based in Miami, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This individual will play a key role in managing accounting, reporting, and financial analysis across multiple entities and investments. Key Responsibilities Perform daily and monthly accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the family office and affiliated entities. Support consolidation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Track investment performance and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs. Conduct ad hoc analyses to support financial and strategic decision-making. Coordinate with external tax advisors on filings, audits, and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with U.S. and international reporting requirements. Maintain well‑organized records for tax and audit purposes. Monitor cash balances and reconcile accounts across multiple entities. Support short‑term liquidity forecasting and cash flow management. Maintain strong internal controls to ensure data integrity and process efficiency. Support system implementation and identify opportunities for process improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CPA track preferred. 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a family office, investment management, real estate, or fund accounting environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
