Locums Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-CertifiedFamily Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity with a growing,team-based primary care practice in Tacoma, Washington. This is an excellentopportunity for a physician who values preventive medicine, relationship-basedcare, and whole-person patient management.

Compensation: $100 Per Hour plus travel

Position Highlights

• 10-15 patients per day
• Extended appointment times of approximately 20-60minutes
• Collaborative, team-based care model
• Dedicated clinical support team, including healthcoaches
• Focus on preventive and value-based care
• No inpatient responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicinecare.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronicmedical conditions.
• Provide preventive care, screenings, and healthmaintenance.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused onwhole-person care.
• Manage chronic conditions and coordinate specialtyreferrals when appropriate.
• Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, andhealthy lifestyle choices.
• Work collaboratively with health coaches and othermembers of the care team.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic medicaldocumentation.
• Apply appropriate medical coding and documentationpractices, including Medicare Advantage and HCC coding.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
• Board Certified through ABFM, ABIM, or AOA
• Minimum 3 years of primary care experience
• Current, unrestricted Washington medical license orability to obtain
• Current DEA registration
• Experience working in a team-based primary careenvironment
• EMR experience preferred
