Security Intern

Security Intern – Barberton, OH At BWXT, interns perform challenging tasks while developing and delivering unique solutions for use in a nuclear environment. This Security Internship provides insight into processing security clearances, enhances communication skills between departments, customers, and vendors, and deepens understanding of security processes. Day to Day Responsibilities Provide support to the security department in daily activities. Use security software (SIMS and Symmetry) to enter and maintain records for new hires and assist in new hire preparation, intake, and onboarding. Communicate with security personnel regarding incoming and outgoing site visits and travel requests. Assist with organizing and managing physical security records. Required Qualifications Students at sophomore standing or above at the time the internship begins. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship. Preference for students who have completed coursework in Criminal Justice. What We Offer Competitive paid internship.
