Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Asset Management Consultant to support the configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, reporting, and administration of an existing IBM Maximo-based Asset Management System (AMS) implementation for a Federal Government customer.
The consultant will work on optimizing the existing Maximo environment, resolving configuration issues, developing and correcting reports, improving workflows, supporting integrations, and providing administrator training. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, including Maximo configuration, scripting, troubleshooting customized implementations, integrations, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform IBM Maximo Asset Management System configuration and optimization activities.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Maximo application issues.
• Develop and modify Maximo scripts, workflows, and business rules.
• Support configuration of Maximo mobile functionality for inventory activities.

Configure asset lifecycle processes including:

• Asset status updates
• Property transfers
• Retirement workflows
• Service request processes
• Inventory management functions
• Troubleshoot Maximo errors and system issues.
• Configure integrations between Maximo and external systems/APIs.
• Support Axonius network inventory integration using Maximo APIs.
• Develop, modify, and optimize Maximo reports.
• Create documentation for all configuration changes and report updates.
• Provide administrator training and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Participate in status meetings and provide progress reporting.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with IBM Maximo Asset Management.
• Experience configuring and supporting Maximo enterprise implementations.
• Experience writing Maximo scripts and troubleshooting customized Maximo environments.

• Experience supporting Maximo mobile and asset tracking capabilities.
• Experience diagnosing system errors and correcting configuration issues.

Required Experience:

• Federal Government asset management systems experience.
• Experience supporting IBM Maximo implementations in large organizations.
• Experience with property management, inventory tracking, and asset accountability systems.
• Experience providing Maximo administrator training.
• Minimum 8 years of experience successfully managing inventory system projects or implementations; OR
• PMP certification with at least 2 years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects involving asset management technologies.

Education / Certifications Preferred:

• IBM Maximo certification(s)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
