About the Job Local dog grooming spa is seeking full- and part-time Grooming Assistants to join our team in a cage-free, full-service dog spa in Oxford, MS. Our focus is on the emotional well-being of the dogs we work with, ensuring a stress-free and compassionate grooming experience. Responsibilities Bathe, dry, and brush dogs. Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth. Assist stylists during grooming sessions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the day. Identify potential health concerns (e.g., ear infections, skin conditions, dental issues) and accurately relay information to pet owners. Follow best practices to ensure a safe and positive experience for all pets. Requirements Minimum1 year of professional animal care experience. Self-motivated with strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Background check required. Professional references. Schedule 4-8 hour shifts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
